It's already legislative meeting season! Preparation can help you represent your library to elected officials with confidence. This informational session will cover:
- How a typical legislative meeting is conducted
- Suggested talking points for library representatives
- PaLA's ask for increases to the library subsidy and ACLA's ask for a line-item grant
- Tips for good video and audio during a virtual legislator meeting
This session is recommended for library directors and library board members who will be attending virtual meetings with their legislators.
